Monad Genesis: Today we will complete all intended behavioral changes ahead of the mainnet launch
BlockBeats News, November 5th, Monad Co-founder Keone Hon announced that today at 21:30 (UTC+8), the Monad testnet will upgrade from the behavioral revision version MONAD_SIX [v0.11.6-tn1] to MONAD_SEVEN [v0.12.0]. This upgrade includes the following behavioral changes: Opcode/Precompiled Contract Pricing (increased gas cost for cold storage access; increased cost for certain precompiled contracts).
Monad will complete all expected behavioral changes before the mainnet launch, and the full changelog will be released soon.
